The main difference

Going by the ingredient lists (INCI) on our product pages, Touro XXXL has two ingredients that Touro Taurine does not: Spilanthes acmella flower extract and capsicum fruit extract. The XXXL description says it combines warmth and coolness on the skin. The Taurine description mentions a tingling sensation. Otherwise the two creams share their base and their key ingredients: taurine, ginseng and ginkgo. Both lists also include menthyl lactate and vanillyl butyl ether.

How to choose

  • Ingredients: choose Touro Taurine if you prefer a formula without Spilanthes acmella and capsicum extract. Choose Touro XXXL if you want the formula with those extra ingredients.
  • Sensation: going by the product descriptions, XXXL is the one with a combined warm and cool feel.
  • Budget: both are 15 ml. Taurine costs less (€13.90 against €18.90).
  • Sensitive skin: with either cream, start with a small amount and always do a patch test first.

How to use (from the product information)

  • Touro XXXL: apply a small amount to the intended area with a massage. Start with 1 pump, then adjust to what feels comfortable. Reapply if desired.
  • Touro Taurine: apply a reasonable amount to the intended area with massage strokes. Reapply if desired.

Safety notes

  • External use only. Do not ingest.
  • Do a patch test on a small area of skin before first use.
  • Do not use on irritated or injured skin.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes. The XXXL product page also says to avoid mucous membranes and broken skin.
  • If irritation occurs, stop using the product and rinse with water.
  • Read the full ingredient list (INCI) on the label, especially if you know you react to particular ingredients.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
